Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as a delivery requirement, not an afterthought.
What we have implemented
Semantic headings and landmarks, visible keyboard focus, descriptive link text, alternative text on meaningful images, and colour contrast that meets AA on body text and interface controls.
Layouts are responsive from small phones upward, tap targets meet minimum size guidance, and motion respects the reduced-motion preference.
Low-bandwidth considerations
Images are lazy-loaded and compressed, and core content is readable before decorative assets finish loading. Data tables are provided alongside charts so information is never conveyed by colour alone.
Known limitations
Some downloadable PDF reports are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. Accessible versions can be requested through the Contact page.
Interactive maps have limited keyboard interaction; the same information is available in list form.
Reporting a barrier
If you encounter a barrier, contact us with the page address and a description of the problem. We aim to acknowledge within five working days and to fix or provide an alternative promptly.
