Development project
Upgrading the ring road to an all-weather standard to improve mobility, safety and connectivity.

Sections of the ring road degrade badly in the rainy season, cutting travel times, damaging vehicles and restricting access to markets and health facilities.
The ring road carries a large share of the city's daily movement. When it fails, everything downstream fails with it — traders miss market hours, patients miss appointments, and school attendance drops. This upgrade rebuilds the road surface, installs proper drainage and adds safety infrastructure so the route stays open year-round.

Shorter, safer journeys to schools, clinics and markets; improved emergency vehicle access to neighbourhoods along the corridor.
Improved drainage reduces standing water and erosion. Dust suppression during works and spoil management are covered in the environmental plan.
